Root Canal Therapy at Advanced Dental Partners

Root canal therapy is a dental procedure performed to save and repair a severely damaged or infected tooth. It involves removing the infected dental pulp – the inner soft tissue of the tooth – and cleaning and disinfecting the root canals. Once cleaned, the canals are filled with a biocompatible material to seal the space and prevent further infection.

Root canal therapy is typically conducted when a tooth’s pulp becomes inflamed or infected due to deep decay, cracks, trauma, or repeated dental procedures. This procedure alleviates severe toothache and prevents the spread of infection to surrounding tissues.

Modern techniques and anesthetics have made root canal therapy relatively comfortable and efficient. After the procedure, a dental crown is often placed over the treated tooth to restore its strength and function. Root canal therapy enables the preservation of the natural tooth, maintaining oral health and preventing the need for extraction.

  Everyone is very friendly, I came here very nervous and scared because I had to have some major work done, it has been a long process but I know DR. Gerber is just making sure everything is satisfactory.  They immediately made me feel comfortable .  Staff is very friendly. I have been back a couple times for my wax fit for dentures.  Today was a good fit and when I come back I will have them.  Thank you so much for taking the time to make sure everything was good!  I have already recommended you to friends.   I had a wonderful experience with at my dental office today.  Dr Solberg and my dental assistant. Dr Solberg was very nice and very careful as to not cause any unnecessary pain for me. I appreciate his kindness and service.  My dental assistant, was also very kind and made sure that I had very little discomfort.  I appreciate their service.  My experience with the entire staff has been very pleasant.  The staff is very personable yet professional which makes for a very nice experience.  I would have no problem referring family and friends to the care of Advanced Dental Partners.
