I went in for a cleaning in May, they advised my crown needed replaced. I thought it was just going to be routine so I paid for them to proceed. It has been a nightmare and about 6 months later I am just finishing that process. Multiple rescans, taking time off work to come to appointments all for it not to be correct, disorganization in the office. They didn’t know which crowns were the new or old, someone else’s scans were in my file, there was blood from a previous procedure in the overhead light during one of my appointments and the dentist had to make them stop and clean it. One time my temporary came off and I called to advise, I was told it was fine to wait until my next appointment. When I got there the dentist was not aware even though a note was made by the receptionist who told me she consulted with the dentist before advising me. He told me that is not something he would’ve advised and not to listen to the people at the front. How is a patient to know they can’t call the office with an issue because they don’t have their ducks in a row as a company. They are unprofessional and talk about their office drama and call offs in front of patients. The dentist did a laser procedure under the table that he didn’t charge me for all to try to make this crown work because I’m now convinced he doesn’t know what he is doing and should no longer be practicing.
